Everything was absolutely delicious, staff was fast and ready to serve and make every table feel special. The food was amazing, we had the salmon and the lamb. The salmon melts in your mouth and tastes so fresh! The lamb was absolutely amazing and tasted so robust. The owner Alejandro is very personable and great to his customers. I will definitely be back again for my next special occasion.

What a pleasant delight! Itโ€™s giving classic yet rustic and refined Spanish vibes. We had the squid ink paella ๐Ÿฅ˜ garlic scallops, sea bass and delicious decadent almond cake & decadent hazelnut ice cream ๐Ÿจ the old town Pasadena ambiance adds pleasantry to our dining experience. The table service is attentive & efficient. Some of the menu options are seasonal, based on the local crops. I had the lychee martini ๐Ÿธand it was lovely. I wish they would have more extensive cocktails options in addition to their extensive wines lists. Overall, dos besos is a wonderfully intimate setting to celebrate special occasion, having business lunch/meeting, or date nights.

All of the food we ordered were tasty! They all tasted good but the standouts/favorites would be the pulpo, queso de bufala and paella negra. The pacing for when the dishes came out was just right as well. Vibe was good and service was great too considering we were seated at the far end of their outdoor area.

I recently dined at Dos Besos in Pasadena on a Wednesday night with another couple, and it was a delightful experience. This new Spanish restaurant, helmed by Barcelona-born chef Alejandro Llobet, truly transports you to a slice of Europe in Old Pasadena. The restaurant's intimate and cozy brick-walled interior, adorned with wine bottles, sets the stage for a wonderful evening. We started with the albondigas meatballs, a delightful combination of beef, pork, and Manchego cheese. It's evident that Chef Alejandro has succeeded in creating a little piece of Spain in Old Town. For our main courses, we decided to share the seafood paella and the Mediterranean sea bass. The paella was a standout, featuring a medley of fresh seafood that burst with flavor. The sea bass, while delicious, was a bit on the smaller side once deboned. We couldn't resist ordering a couple of tapas, which were a creamy and delectable treat. Among the not-to-miss items is the pan con tomate โ€“ a perfect balance of light and crunchy with a smear of tomato, garlic, and olive oil. To make the evening even more special, the seafood paella for two is a perfect choice for a date night on the patio. It's garnished with two large prawns arranged in the shape of a heart, adding a romantic touch to the meal. I should also note that the service at Dos Besos was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to make recommendations enhanced our evening. Overall, Dos Besos is a gem in the heart of Old Pasadena, offering a taste of authentic Spanish cuisine in a charming ambiance. I highly recommend it for a memorable dining experience.

Came here in June 2022 when they were open during brunch. They do not do that anymore. The food was phenomenal. The drinks were amazing. The flavors hit just right. I can't wait to try their dinner. The staff and chef were great! So extremely friendly I want go back just for them.

Dose Besos offers a cute ambiance, but their reservation system needs revamping as it's complex for a small dining place. The seafood paellas, octopus with potatoes were not a favorite, but the mushroom in truffle cream was amazing. The food and cocktail menu lack elevation for the size and exclusivity of the restaurant, resulting in a less-than-5-star service. The vibe from the neighboring restaurant with live music was more welcoming for outdoor dining. Overall, it's an average experience and not particularly memorable for a return visit. Perfect for a weekday dinner, but not ideal for special celebrations.

Absolutely incredible experience. We had the mushroom and the octopus tapas, the tuna carpaccio with greens, and we shared a salt crusted sea bass. We finished with the almond cake and ice cream. Everything was delicious.

Dos Besos has the best Spanish Tapas in Los Angeles. I've been here 3 times now. I've sampled almost everything on the menu. This place has exceeded my expectations. Super fresh product. Made with loving tradition and care. The Paellas are the best I've had in So Cal. It's not easy to find a quality restaurant that serves Spanish Tapas / Cusine. The owner chef is from Barcelona Spain. He carefully selects his products a couple of times a week. Dedicated to quality and providing his patrons with an elevated dining experience. The menu offers a nice selection of classic starters and mains. I recommend starting off with the cheese plate, pan con tomate and sauteed mushrooms. For the main course I recommend trying the seafood paella. This pairs well with a lovely bottle of Spanish Rioja (red wine). For desert go with the almond cake. It's insanely delicious. I can go on and on. The location is lovely. From the classic brick walls to the beautiful tile flooring from Spain. The fantastic patio for alfresco dining also provides a great vibe. The kitchen, service and front of house staff are so nice and happy to serve. That's a good feeling. The tables, plates and silverware are all first class. I brought my wife here for our anniversary and we were treated like royalty. Thank you Alex, Kit and the entire staff at Dos Besos. You made us very happy. We'll see you again soon ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜‹.
